Medium: oil landscapes and still lives

Artist's statement: I have been drawing and painting for most of my life, encouraged by my two aunts who were both professional artists. In my paintings I attempt to express my emotional response to beauty in nature. My paintings are not exact representations of a particular scene, however, but rather reflect my desire to capture the sensation of light and color.
