Medium: paintings in kiln-fired glass

Artist’s Statement: “My formal training is in painting and drawing. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to study with some of the premier warm glass artists in the country and glass has become my medium of choice. Whether working on a 2-dimensional design or exploring a 3-dimensional piece, the play of light and color, combined with a variety of surface techniques are predictable extensions for the expressive experience I seek. The kiln-fired monoprints and paintings prove to be very exciting new additions to my work.
